With the holiday’s becoming a distant memory and a successful Charleston Marathon just a couple weeks ago, one event many are looking forward to is the Cooper River Bridge Run on March 31st.
For many, this event is the culmination of months of training. For others, it’s an opportunity to get together with friends and share a great 6 mile walk. Whatever your reason, it’s worth noting that so many good charities here in the lowcountry will benefit from this event. In fact, the bridge run offers participants the opportunity to help raise money for up to 12 charities. These charities include the MUSC Childrens Hospital Fund, the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy, and Water Missions International…just to name a few.
As a reminder, if you plan to run this year, you can save a couple $$$’s by taking advantage of the Early Bird registration discount. This means you’ll need to register by COB TODAY, otherwise the price goes up to $40
