Freedom is not free

What can be a better diversity topic then Flag Day?!?! Did you know June 14th is Flag Day?

Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States in addition to the adoption of the American continental army by congress. It is a day for all Americans to celebrate and show respect for our flag.

Our flag is representative of our independence and our unity as a nation. As Americans, we have every right to be proud of our culture, our nation, and our flag.

So, raise the flag today and every day with pride and remember that freedom is not free …. many people have died protecting it.

I am so proud to be part of this country. Even though we may have issues, as all countries do, we have so many opportunities and wonderful people.
