That right, it’s that time again. Time to express your opinion by exercising your right to vote.
Of course the first thing that pops into your mind is voting in South Carolina’s “First in the South” primary. It’s certainly an important component in the election process leading up to the general election this fall. But, there is a greater sense of urgency here. I’m talking about voting for the Charleston’s City Paper “Best of Charleston 2012”. It’s always great to recognize the best restaurants, local attractions and businesses. Somewhere between Best Political Gaffe and Best Cheesesteak is Best Bank. Based on your feedback, and the success and popularity of Bank Transfer Day, we hope you’ll consider writing in South Carolina Federal Credit Union. Technically not a “bank”, but close enough since we don’t sell cheesesteak sandwiches. While you are at it, why not toss in a vote for SiMPLE CENTS for best Local Interest Blog.
By the way, in case you’ve been completely disconnected from TV, radio and the internet, you may not have realized there is another opportunity to vote later this week. That’s correct, it’s the South Carolina GOP primary this Saturday.
