Change for Children

Last week, Jessica mentioned that we participated in the MUSC Children’s Hospital Radiothon with 103.5 WEZL and Y102.5. The radiothon ran from Thursday, Jan. 26 – Saturday, Jan. 28 and raised a grand total of $119,501 for the children’s hospital! We were just getting warmed up…

The radiothon kicked off Change Bandits, a fundraiser to collect spare change (dollars count too!) during the month of February benefiting MUSC Children’s Hospital. Businesses, schools and individuals can “rob” their friends and family of change for the kids at MUSC. Just think of all the places where you find loose change – in between couch cushions, your car, pockets, purses, junk drawers…the possibilities are endless.

Once you’ve gathered up your spare change, visit your local South Carolina Federal branch location this month and donate it to the kids at MUSC. You may use our coin counters for free even if you’re not a member, as long as you donate your coins to Change Bandits.

We are fortunate to have a great children’s hospital in our own backyard where dedicated healthcare professionals are doing outstanding work every day. Join us in being a Change Bandit – it’s for the kids!
